In 2012, I was awarded a Fulbright/Icelandic Ministry of Education and Culture Grant to pursue a comprehensive study of the modern Icelandic language. After completing a practical certificate in Icelandic as a Second Language, I returned in the fall to continue my studies in the Icelandic as a Second Language program at the University of Iceland. As of Fall 2015, I will begin the MA program in Translation Studies.

See my primary blog, Eth & Thorn, for more about my language-learning process, as well as my experiences living in Iceland. As this blog has now reached file capacity, I will be archiving future photos at a second photo blog, here. This blog is, therefore, a pretty comprehensive photo archive from my first two years in Iceland.

If you reuse these images, please no commercial use, and I’d appreciate attribution.
